Adelaide vs Fremantle: AFL live scores

By The Roar / Editor

Adelaide can go a long way towards locking in a home qualifying final as they host Fremantle. We’ll have live scores from 2.10pm AEST.

The Dockers appear to be in some serious form, and they are the last side in the current top 12 that the Crows must face in the home and away season.

If you make the assumption that Adelaide will win their last three, then this is the only game that can stuff up their quest for a top two spot (and perhaps the minor premiership also).

With Freo’s form, which includes five wins on the trot, this is sure to be a challenge. The men from out west are giving the hint that they are finally clicking under Ross Lyon.

Yet their position in the top eight is far from guaranteed. They, just like the Crows, can’t afford to lose.

Adelaide last week won a close one at home against Essendon, getting over the line by four points.

The standouts were Patrick Dangerfield (29 disposals, three goals) and Taylor Walker (four goals). Ruckman Sam Jacobs had 40 hitouts.

The Dockers won the Western Derby against the West Coast Eagles by a very convincing 65 points.

Matthew Pavlich was the hero with eight goals, enhancing his Coleman Medal claims, while Nathan Fyfe had 28 disposals and eight clearances, and David Mundy and Michael Barlow both had 27 touches.

Alex Silvagni and Nic Suban come in for Fremantle, while Adelaide bring back David Mackay and introduce Lewis Johnston for his AFL debut.
