Highway to hell for six NRL clubs

By NF / Roar Guru

Six NRL clubs have found themselves on a highway to hell involving drugs and potential match fixing that will do irreversible damage.

It is not known which players and clubs are under the microscope. It is important that the clubs and players are revealed to the media within the next week, as it’s something that shouldn’t drag once the proper season starts.

Once these clubs and players are named and shamed, the rightful punishments must be handed down by the ASADA and Australian Crime Commission, ranging from player bans to potential arrests.

The sensationalism and suspense from the media must stop and the true facts must be revealed to put the 16 NRL clubs out of their misery.

Over the year, the six clubs will find themselves in hot water for their failure to manage drugs and potentially match fixing.

Overall, this is the wake-up call rugby league needed in regards to its drug policy, as past administration and the NRL clubs involved should take the brunt of the blame for their negligence.

Once this scandal is sorted, rugby league should be cleaned up. This year is the time to correct the game of its past problems and move on into the future.

One can only hope, but this is rugby league we’re talking about.

I assume this article got deleted since I don't see it on the league section. Also, I notice the likes of Brewski who are blatant trolls getting away with trolling on league threads yet a leaguie such as myself cannot comment on my fellow league articles only confined to my own articles.

:) And that should be the theme song to rugby league if this is sweept under the carpet again like the 2004 AFL investigation that did not allow agencies or the police or clubs to name names. "Highway to Hell" ACDC, classic for league.
