Hawks' Evans joins AFL

By News / Wire

Hawthorn’s Mark Evans has joined the AFL as the new football operations manager.

Evans replaces Adrian Anderson who resigned late last year.

He has been general manager of football operations at the Hawks since 2004 and deputy chief executive for the past 18 months.

Evans joined the Hawks from the Melbourne AFL club at the same time as coach Alastair Clarkson.
