Jose Mourinho and Chelsea: made for each other

By Raj Bhandari / Roar Rookie

By all means, the combination of Jose Mourinho and Chelsea is the best possible. A viable and most effective option, in terms of wishes of billions of fans of the game, spread worldwide, also seconded by the media across the globe.

Jose is ultimately ready to fire the shots.

Never ever in the history of football, the desire to see someone as the coach of Chelsea had so much of intensity.

The delay in finalising the decision by the management had almost become unbearable, but deep in the heart of millions of Chelsea’s dedicated fans, hope was always there.

The first reaction of die-hard fans of Chelsea depicted joy, as soon as the news broke on the internet.

Of late, I have not come across such a wonderfully receptive reaction or tribute to any incoming manager.

But he rightly deserves this. This association has defined the need for speed Chelsea is seeking.

The reason that Chelsea fans are so thrilled is the feeling of belonging between Jose and Chelsea, which has converted the process into one of the smoothest coach takeovers ever in the history of Chelsea.

The first and foremost reason for his re-appointment is that he has got so much history of bonding with Chelsea.

This shows the deep sense of belongingness.

After all, he is coming after managing Real Madrid, which itself is treated as an achievement for any manager.

This became the general perception among the fans, that appointing Mourinho is the only way out for Chelsea to sustain its challenge for trophies.

Apart from the enormous skills he possesses, his ability to infuse coordination among the players results in total integrity of the team.

Now, let’s move on to the credit score lying in the account of Mourinho. During his last regime from 2004-2007, Chelsea proudly held the English Premier League consecutively – a rare honour for any coach.

Now again he has been signed for a period of four years and the timing appears to be most favourable because recently, the veteran Sir Alex Ferguson has left Manchester United, an arch rival of Chelsea.

Any new coach will take time before he is able to deliver, whereas the name of Mourinho has already become synonymous with Chelsea.

He is also known for having strict norms and a very professional approach, a necessary ingredient for any coach, in order to get the best out of his squad.

To sum up, I would like to mention some of the countless qualities Mourinho possesses.

His commitment is on par with excellence, as he has got a total positive attitude imperative for sailing out in unfavourable conditions.

The level of experience he has is undoubtedly world’s best. With the kind of knowledge he carries, clubbed with his cool temperament, he can thrill all of us by his magical performances.

So welcome back to the gang Jose, for we know that you are going to be there for a long lasting association. What else should I say to my all-time favourite star, except wishing him a glorious path ahead.

Chelsea have had 10 years to build a dynasty but still haven't, all the best clubs in Europe have a mixture of top players bought in and players brought through the club as youngsters. How many Chelsea players are currently coming through from the youths to the senior team?Chelsea are an extension of Abramavichs vulgarity

If Abramavich is true to form, the special one will be gone within 18-24 months. Dickhead owners........what can you do.

With Abramovich's money and The Special One's arrogance, they can't lose. Just need a football team and with Man U, Man C, Liverpool and Arsenal in decline it might be Chelski's year again.

Yeah its good to see him back -- English papers full of dire predictions about the outcome but i reckon its going to be fine -- most of the bad press has an air of trying to appease their own fears about what it means for their club -- Roman knows more about football now and he knows Jose is the special one plus there's less chancers whispering in his ear -- as for Jose he's done everything in four countries and now IMO he wants a final challenge, being at a club for 10 years and building a dynasty --- he's saying all the right smart things like how its a young team who need stability which is dead right -- last year was a transition year for chelsea from the drogba/lamp/JT spine to something else and an experienced smart manager is exactly what we need. And there isn't anyone smarter than Jose. Last year we still won a trophy despite everything -- we'll win a lot more now the special one's back.
