Will this (finally) be NSW’s year?

By Nick Richardson / Roar Guru

After game one of State of Origin 2013 there has been a lot said about the game and what will happen in the remaining Origin matches of 2013.

The biggest question though, is about whether or not NSW will break their drought.

NSW has been beaten the last seven years and fans are desperate to feel success and will make themselves heard.

NSW outplayed Queensland for the most of the first match at ANZ on Wednesday, and looked to have controlled most of the game.

If this domination can be carried into the rest of Origin 2013 then NSW will win their first series since 2005. It is a massive ask, but I can just see this happening.

Queensland won’t just roll over though, so NSW will have to really want it if they are to walk away victors.

Queensland is filled with experience and are very comfortable playing together, and I’m sure Mal won’t let Queensland produce a performance like game one in the remaining games.

Only needing to win one of the remaining games to clinch a series victory NSW will like their chances, especially with one home match remaining.

I, as a Queensland supporter hope this dominance continues for a few more years, but this will be the Blues’ best chance to stop the Queensland winning streak.

If nsw comes home from qld with a win its all over red dog....or even if they lose by less than 10 I think they're a good chance back in Sydney ,but qld showed with that try that they can cut through nsw like a hot knife through butter when they get it right ,if they get it right all night in qld its going to be a long plane ride home to Sydney....I hope gallen ,Lewis and co smash em in the first ten again and run over em for the last 70 ,but I can't see qld playing such a lackluster game twice.....go the blues
