The 2013 Vuelta a Espana continues today with a 175-kilometre ride from Guijuelo to Caceres. It is advertised as a flat stage, so Michael Matthews will be looking to take his second win in as many days. We’ll have live updates from 11.45pm AEST.

Vincenzo Nibali will no doubt hope for an easy day, or as easy as the days get in this Vuelta.

The other General Classification contenders will no doubt be saving their energy for when the big climbs start again on Stage 8.

Orica-GreenEDGE’s man Michael Matthews will no doubt be favourite to take the win after yesterday’s impressive performance, but will be challenged by the likes of Gianni Meersman (Omega Pharma-Quickstep), and Tyler Farrar of Garmin-Sharp.

Even though it’s profiled as a regular flat stage, no doubt the Vuelta will throw up some of its usual surprises.

Join us from 11.45pm AEST for live updates.
