Both Melbourne Heart and Perth Glory will be looking for their first win of the A-League season when they meet at NIB stadium this afternoon. We’ll have live scores from 5.00pm AEDT.

Melbourne surprised many when they led the Central Coast 2-0 halfway through the second half last Saturday.

Although they conceded back-to-back penalties in the 71st and 77th minutes, John Aloisi’s men will take confidence in their attacking performance.

This afternoon they will be looking to end their terrible away record.

On the other hand Perth played out a scoreless draw against a Newcastle outfit looking for redemption from their poor performance against Sydney in Round 1.

Perth dominated possession, but could only turn 58 percent of the ball into 11 penalty area entries.

The Glory will have to convert possession into chances if they are to beat a Heart side that will not gift the ball like Newcastle did a week ago.

The Glory will be boosted by the home crowd and playing their first game in Perth for the season.

The Heart has won their last two encounters between the two and will come into this with the confidence they can win another.

The X-factor is: David Williams, David’s pace and his ability to run through the defensive line makes him a threat on the counter.

The Glory will have to stop David if they are to stand a chance.

Prediction
This game will be close but Perth has struggled to find the net this season and the Heart defence will do enough to see Perth remain scoreless.

1-0 to Melbourne Heart
