Sydney FC will be looking to extend their four-game winning streak when they line up against the Central Coast Mariners at Bluetongue Stadium tonight. We’ll have live scores from 7.30pm AEDT.

Sydney FC
Few would have expected Sydney to be sitting higher than Central Coast on the table this far into the season season, but four consecutive wins have lifted the Sky Blues into third after eight matches.

Frank Farina’s men are starting to make a habit of finding a way to win and have shown amazing fight, and it has been impressive the way they have turned their season around after a slow start.

Sydney produced a solid performance last week against an in-form Newcastle lineup. They will be looking for more of the same against the Boys from Gosford this weekend.

Central Coast
The Mariners have had a very steady start to their season picking up 10 points from seven matches.

They are 11 points off top spot, but have played two less matches than the table topping Brisbane Roar.

The Central Coast are wanting to get more out of their attack scoring just eight goals in seven games this season, with Marcos Flores leading the Mariners’ goalscoring tally with three penalties.

The Mariners have plenty of talent at his disposal, but where to play them remains the biggest question.

The Central Coast got a draw out of their fixture last weekend against Melbourne Victory, and will be looking to impress their new boss who is under immense pressure trying to fill Graeme Arnold’s big shoes.

X-Factor
The X-Factor of this clash is Mitchell Duke. Duke has shown immense talent in his short career in the A-League. If Duke can find the back of the net than expect the Mariners to run away with this match.

Prediction
Central Coast 1-1 Sydney FC
Very hard to separate these two teams and expect there to be fireworks late in the second half.
