Guangzhou Evergrande Vs Melbourne Victory: Asian Champions League live scores, blog

By Zee / Roar Guru

Wednesday night football takes us to China, where Melbourne Victory will face a tough Asian Champions League proposition when they take on AFC Champions – Guangzhou Evergrande.

The champion club is coached by Italian World Cup winning legend and Coach Marcello Lippi, the sides will meet at 11pm AEDT, at the impressive Tianhe Stadium.

Surprisingly Kevin Muscat has left his sparkly footed Brazillian Gui Finkler at home opting for Fabio Contrereas instead. He will look to Tom Rogic for inspiration, as he looks to fire home some form.

The Chinese side are blessed with extraordinary talent, with Italian legend Alessandro Diamante on their books along with talented Brazilian Elkeson and Muriqi who has scored 50 goals in 86 appearances.

Tough challenge ahead for the Victory, join us at 11pm for all the action live here on The Roar.

Same with the Ulsan fans too. It was just about 50/50. Something I hope we improve in the A-League. it's already better than NRL in Sydney but could be more equal.

They looked quite dorky actually, like the nerd kids in an American high school movie.
