The Melbourne Storm host the New Zealand Warriors at AAMI Park on Anzac Day evening in a match that both teams are desperate to win. Join The Roar for live scores from 6:00pm (AEST).
These teams met twice last season, with the Storm proving too strong on Anzac Day, 2013, running out a 28-18 victory.
In their second meeting, the Warriors secured an upset 30-22 win.
The Storm have not looked themselves so far this year, and with just two wins from their last five matches, they currently sit in unfamiliar territory outside the top eight.
The Warriors have also failed to live up to preseason expectations.
They have shown glimpses of their talent, but a lack of consistency has seen them slump to 15th on the ladder.
Billy slater appears to be on track to return to his best form and could prove to be the match winner for the Storm today.
Prediction
The Warriors struggles look set to continue today as the Storm will be too strong at home.
Storm by 8.
Join The Roar for live scores from 6:00pm (AEST).

No its Sean the blindman - instead of raving, how about checking the evidence and report back though that might be to much like work rather than idiotic rants

Spectator, The Roosters last year's premiers lost the most penalty counts of any other side in the competition. They lost 20 of 27 penalty counts. Manly the other grand finalist lost equal second most, loosing 16 of 27. They are freely available at stats.rleague.com.au

Spectator, that's what I have been saying for months and usually get some free advice to the effect that I should get my head examined. The NRL put simply are desperate to keep matches competitive for as long a period of time as possible. It's all about keeping those eyeballs glued to the box. Do that and the sponsor's will be content. If ever a sport was a candidate for manipulation surely it is Rugby League. A relatively minor world sport lacking an effective umbrella governance with an autonomous administration and the free hand that comes with that, located in a competitive, lucrative but somewhat isolated market place. Shame on you NRL.

How the ref's every week get away with bringing the losing team in with penalties continues is mind blowing, The favourites get penalties the roughies cant and its way too obvious for those in power to ignore yet every week for a couple of years now the agenda is pushed so blatently. no wonder Sydney FC;s fan base is on the up.The warriors did well to win against the storm and match officials, betting markets will start betting on ref's influences soon!! Theres something to bet on there so only a matter of time.

It's a classic tactic of the NRL to keep the games exciting. Same thing happened in the earlier game.

Weird indeed that the top three teams in last year's premiership were also the most penalised. Our country is full of corruption it's just that the corrupt tend to wear a better cut of suit than in so called third world countries. That must have been a sell out for Aami Park. Anyone know if more turned up and couldn't get in ? They will have to think about moving this fixture next year.

SSee how many 50-50 decisions went the Storms way in the 2nd half - all - every obstruction call goes the way of the team behind on the scoreboard - check it and see...

So I'm interested in what people think about this. Are the Storm and their big 3 done as an NRL force? Can they salvage this season? And would Benchy Marshall be a worthwhile signing?

Yes, yet another close game. Bet the sponsor's are happy. When are you guys going to realise these games are engineered nonsense almost as artificial as our much vaunted democracy.
