On Thursday there was more playoff action in the NBA, with the Clippers, Atlanta and Memphis all chalking up victories.

LA Clippers 98-Golden State 96 (LA leads 2-1)
Golden State and their ‘Splash Brothers’ couldn’t throw one in the ocean in the first half, shooting 1-12 from range.

DeAndre Jordan spent very little of his court time on the ground, grabbing 22 rebounds and swatting 5 shots.

Chris Paul scored 8 points in the final three minutes and had the honour of shooting the game-sealing free throws.

Atlanta 98-Indiana 85 (Atlanta somehow leads 2-1)
The Atlanta Hawks went off in the second half, hitting 10 three pointers and scoring 59 points. They showed that there are unperturbed by the league’s top-rated defence.

Indiana struggle to score more than Jay from The Inbetweeners and their chemistry hasn’t exactly been at Walter White levels lately.

Stephenson lead Indy with 21 points and 13 rebounds. He did his best to make plays and fire up his troops in the final quarter, but after two Jeff Teague breakaway dunks and a circus three, the often quiet Philips Arena was jumping.

Stephenson’s good work was undone and the Pacers had unraveled.

Roy Hibbert managed a paltry four points and two rebounds and is struggling more than a child star entering their early thirties.

Memphis 98-Oklahoma City 95 (Memphis leads 2-1)
Russell Westbrook was very impressive, as were all 30 of his points. There was nothing more impressive than this four-point play towards the end of regulation. It was OKC’s second miraculous four-point play in their last two games.

Kevin Durant, who had 30 points of his own, turned his ankle and then immediately dunked on everyone that was unfortunate enough to be in the paint at the time.

Steven Adams and Jeremy Lamb, OKC’s remaining pieces from the Harden trade, didn’t play at all today, a fact Bill Simmons has most likely pointed out seventeen times already.

Perry Jones and Ed Davis were sadly unable to make use of their 00:01 of court time.

Oh yeah, and Mike Conley showed up to the game in a wooden hat.
