The Nets took on the Raptors as the 2013/2014 NBA playoffs continued. Toronto went 3-2 up against Brooklyn, with a 113-113 win.

It wasn’t smooth sailing though as Toronto blew their biggest lead in playoff franchise history (26) in a successful attempt to provide Nets fans with false hope and Raptors fans with an unnecessary heart attack.

Kyle Lowry lead the #NorthernUprising with 36 points, 6 assists, while Joe Johnson notched up 30 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 0 identifiable facial expressions in Brooklyn’s favour.

The final handful of minutes saw gutsy Kyle Lowry theatrics (from range and in the paint), an Alan Anderson corner four-point play to keep the game alive, not to mention a woeful Andre Blatche game killing back court violation pass to put the cherry on Toronto’s cake and dagger in Brooklyn’s heart.

The two sides head back to the spacious yet strikingly dark confines of Barclays Center, where a victory would clinch the series and send the city of Toronto into frenzy. Have you seen the shots on fans outside of the Air Canada Centre!? My god. Those up there are a savage, hungry bunch.

Congrats, D-Fish
The corpse of Derek fisher set the record for all time playoff games played. Rivetingly witty corpse jokes aside, respect to D-Fish. The dude is still capable of hitting massive shots, even to this day, and has been one hell of a leader throughout his career. A highly successful one at that.

While he’ll always be remembered for his Lakers days, and that 0.4 second shot which scientist swore couldn’t be done, he’ll be eager to prevent his last season ending with his widely fancied OKC squad being bounced in the first round by the bruising, hustling, busting, well-oiled machine that is the Memphis Grizzlies.

See ya, Mike D’Antoni
Having lost Mr Potato Head from the coaching ranks, today the NBA sadly lost the Pringles guy too.

Headlines like ‘Mike D’Antoni Resigns’ popped up all over the internet today. This prompted as many problems with the word ‘resign’ as with D’Antoni’s coaching, as many Lakers fans prepared to throw their computer through the nearest window or door.

That was before they realised he has resigned, not re-signed, and they instead starting praising their respective lords of choice.
