MATCH PREVIEW:

In the last fixture of the weekend, Hull City welcome West Ham United to the KC Stadium. Join The Roar for live scores and coverage of the English Premier League from 5:00am (AEST).

Hull have had an indifferent start to the campaign thus far, with four points from their opening three games, although a win at the KC could realistically land the hosts into the top six as the Premier League table looks to take shape.

An opening day victory at Queens Park Rangers was followed up with a draw at home to Stoke and defeat at Villa Park, both fixtures that Steve Bruce would have been looking to pick up points from.

West Ham will also be earmarking this clash as a potential victory, particularly with Liverpool and Manchester United being the Hammers’ next two fixtures.

Sam Allardyce’s side have been profitable on the road so far, albeit from one game, with all three of their Premier League points coming from their trip to Crystal Palace, sandwiched by two defeats at Upton Park.

The Tigers were praised for a positive transfer window, with deadline day signing Mohamed Diame expected to make his Hull debut against his former club, although Hatem Ben Arfa, Gaston Ramirez and Abel Hernandez may be forced to watch this one from the stands.

Alex Song and Morgan Amilfitano may make their debuts for the visitors, whilst Emmer Valencia will be looked to to ease West Ham’s goal-scoring difficulties.

History suggests that this should be a close match, although both home sides won the corresponding fixtures last year, albeit by just a one-goal margin.

But how close will this clash be?

Prediction: Hull 1-1 West Ham

What a game! Fast, frantic, fantastic for the neutral. Hull twice went ahead, and considering they were the home side, would have felt confident at closing the game out. A draw may be the fair result however.

90+4' Off the line! Stewart Downing's late cross is headed towards goal by Valencia, with Michael Dawson coming to the rescue once again with the ball deflecting off him, onto the bar, and out for a corner. That proves to be the final act of the game, with the sides sharing the points. FULL-TIME: Hull City 2-2 West Ham United Abel Hernandez (39'), Mohamed Diame (64') - Emer Valencia (50'), Curtis Davies OG (67')

89' Could the two sides be settling for a point? The game has subdued considerably as we head close to stoppage time.

81' Robbie Brady fancies getting on the scoresheet, jinking his way through as so many players have in this game. His shot stings the palms of Adrian, who pushes the ball to safety. This game is anyone's to win as we head into the last 10. Hull 2-2 West Ham

76' - 80' SUBSTITUTIONS Carl Jenkinsion on for Guy Demel (West Ham), Gaston Ramirez on for Mo Diame (Hull) and Hatem Ben Arfa on for Abel Hernanzed (Hull) In the meanwhile, Robbie Brady cuts in and shoots from the edge of the area, but can only find the gloves of Adrian. Both of Hull's goalscorers are now taking a well earned rest.

69' But then West Ham hit straight back, with equally shoddy defending from Hull. Diafra Sakho's shot from a Downing pass hits Davies who can only bundle it into his own net. This could be a thrilling 15 minutes. Hull 2-2 West Ham

67' So where shall we start? The Hull goal: A lackadaisical throw in the left-back position falls to ex-Hammer Mo Diame, who goes unchallenged to the edge of the box, and is allowed to fire home on his debut for Hull.

50' Absolutely superb from Emer Valencia on his first Premier League start. After being fed the ball by Stewart Downing about 40 yards out, Valencia tingles around the Hull defence looking to fire a shot away, before pulling the trigger without even giving himself a yard of room. Magnificent. Hull 1-1 West Ham
