Here are my player ratings from Round 6 of Super Rugby. Submit your own, keeping the figures for mediocre scores aside for reasons of brevity and so that the focus is on the best and worst performers.

Scores should be between anyone over 7 and anyone below 4, i.e. for very good and poor performances. Half scores are allowed i.e. 7.5, 3.5.

Please submit your own scores for a whole team. The minimum is one team, there is no obligation to score all the games.

I average the scores per team by the number submitted. I will compile every ones submitted teams scores and produce Wallaby form teams later in the week. There will be one team of the round and three accumulative teams.

Rebels – Lions
The Rebels dominated most of the game but did not score enough points for all that dominance. Their forwards outside the scrum were better and the backs played well as a unit.

However they relaxed and let the Lions come back. What made things even worse was that they made multiple errors at the end and looked mentally soft and unable to close out the game. The Lions scored at the last minute against the run of play and won the game.

Rebels
L. Jones 7.5
S. McMahon 7.5/10
S. Higginbotham 8.5/10
L. Timani 7.5/10
S. Fuglistaller 7.5/10
T. Smith 2/10
L. Weeks 3/10
M. Inman 8/10
M. Harris 7.5/10
J. Placid 8/10
N. Stirzaker 8/10
S. Naivalu 7.5/10

Bulls – Force
This was an error-strewn game which neither team would be proud of.

The Force played with greater skill, organisation and attitude than the Bulls. The Force scrum was well beaten by the Bulls scrum. Discipline cost the Force the game.

It was a repeat of the Rebels, with the Force unable to close out the game at the last minute with a slender lead. Yet again another Australian team seems to lack the mental toughness when it counts.

T. Faulkner 3/10
P. Cowan 3/10
S. Wykes 7.5/10
A. Coleman 8/10
B. McCalman 3/10
K. Godwin 8/10
L. Morahan 7.5/10

Waratahs – Brumbies.
The two best Australian teams played a high quality, tough, physical game. The Brumbies were tested and found wanting.

The Brumbies have an excellent drilled and organised pack and their plans revolve around them. The Waratahs won the battle of the breakdown and the collisions.

The mauls and scrums were evenly contested. When the Brumby forwards are not dominant the Brumbies have no plan B on how to utilise the ball in the backline. Kuridrani their best strike weapon did not receive much ball and it was never in open space. He was easily contained by the Waratahs. Conversely Waratahs strike weapon ran riot and was my man of the match.

Waratahs
S. Latu 7.5/10
S. Kepu 8/10
W. Skelton 8/10
M. Hooper 8/10
W. Palu 8/10
N. Phipps 7.5/10
B. Foley 8/10
I. Folau 9.5/10

Brumbies
S. Sio 8/10
J. Tomane 8/10
