Could Javier Hernandez return to Manchester United?

By Constance / Roar Pro

Since Javier Hernandez went on loan to Real Madrid from Manchester United at the start of the season, he has just five goals to his name, and has been dropped from the Mexican national team.

Hernandez must be frustrated at being sidelined for as long as he has, after scoring multiple goals for Manchester United just last season.

Real Madrid clearly doesn’t want or need Hernandez, and he is rumoured to be looking at offers from clubs in America and England.

Chicharito will be looking to teams that can offer him a first-team spot, or may simply go back to United, the club which first saw talent in the young striker.

United have signed over $100 million worth of players since Hernandez’s departure, but they are fully aware of his finishing abilities, and he could play as a super sub if he came back. It certainly wouldn’t take too long for the Mexican striker to get back to his scoring ways due to his natural ability on goal. All he needs is the chance to put those abilities into play.

If he does move back to England, playing in the EPL would also help him regain his spot in the Mexican national team.

First of all, stating that he has been dropped from the Mexican national team is false. He just scored a goal against Ecuador in Los Angeles, CA a month ago. He is also going to Gold Cup. Now, he has also received offers from Italy not only the U.S & England. This simplifies that you do not have enough knowledge to post an article.

i think hernandez could come back but he would have to accept that he isnt that great a player. he is a brilliant poacher and i think would make a fantastic and much loved super sub but he is not good enough as a primary striker.

It all depends on what Van Gaal does with RVP and Falcao in summer. If he wants to challenge in both Europe and the Premier League, then both should be moved on from the club as they have been sub par and neither will accept another season on the bench behind Rooney. Hernandez is a quality poacher but a player like him will never be a starting striker in a LVG side. Personally I think United need to keep scouring the transfer market for the next big thing but the papers are saying that United want proven quality and are willing to spend. Rumours are they are looking at Jackson Martinez at Porto who's in the form of his life at 28.
