Van Gaal is unlikely to keep Falcao, so where to next for the Colombian?

By Constance / Roar Pro

Radamel Falcao is on the verge of leaving Manchester United in the next transfer window after constant rumours circled his future for the entire English Premier League season.

Other top clubs in England, such as Chelsea and Arsenal, are reportedly interested, and there is always the chance of a return to parent club Monaco.

The striker has produced some unconvincing performances for the Red Devils since coming to Old Trafford and his performances are only depleting with each game he plays. It is understandable that United are searching for a replacement.

Finishing with his head was one of Falcao’s strong points when he was in form for Monaco and Colombia. But a serious knee injury kept him out of the 2014 World Cup. The lack of playing time must have affected the player fairly badly as he is still struggling to find his feet.

The hunger for growth and goals is clearly still there but the talent that saw him arrive on loan to Manchester United is certainly lacking right now. It needs to change soon before he finds himself travelling back to Monaco, or worse being left without a club entirely.

Falcao is unlikely to produce the form he once had at Old Trafford because he isn’t getting the game time needed to turn his fortunes around.

The only salvation for Falcao could be a move to another Premier League club like Chelsea, who have the tendency to improve even the lowest of talent. Falcao certainly doesn’t lack talent but the talent he does possess is slowly deteriorating while he remains at Manchester United.

A move to Chelsea or a club with their potential could do wonders for a player that was once a top target for Europe’s richest clubs.

Well he is wasting his time at ManU. Getting no game time and very little decent service when he is give 10 minutes to try to save a game ! The guy has plenty of ability, but needs a club who is willing to use him. DeMaria should go as well. He is either completely unhappy there or he has lost a leg since the season started.

Chicharito will be at Southhampton as part of a deal for Clyne I would imagine.

No need to keep Falcao, instead we bring Chicharito. Keeping Falcao will be waste of fund.
