Transfers we could see come July

By 144 / Roar Guru

Whether it’s seeing big-money moves, or club legends leaving, we all love fresh-faced recruits in our team’s starting line-up to bring excitement and even more competitiveness for the upcoming season.

Today we cover the possible transfers in the English Premier League, Serie A and other big name buys that could be jetting off for a new challenge real soon.

Charlie Austin to Manchester United
Estimated value £18 million

Scoring 17 goals over the 2014-15 premier League season, Charlie Austin is hot property in the Premier League. Hot favourites are Manchester United, who loaned in Colombian star Radamel Falcao this season, but after 26 appearances and only four goals, and an embarrassing drop to the youth side, he isn’t likely to be welcome at Old Trafford for another season.

With captain Wayne Rooney dropping into midfield and Robin van Persie often out with injury, a young English talisman could be on the books for United.

Mohamed Salah to Fiorentina
Estimated value £12 million

The Egyptian winger is currently on loan at Italian club Fiorentina from Premier League Champions Chelsea, who he joined in January. Fiorentina are on the brink of Europa League qualification, fighting for sixth spot with Genoa.

Salah has brought a spark to Fiorentina’s game, with his ability to cut down defence with his agility and blistering pace. He has appeared in 13 games for Fiorentina, scoring five goals.

If Salah stays in London, he’d be rotting away on the bench. He has enough talent to change a team’s season, and he is a very exciting player.

Kevin De Bruyne to Manchester City
Estimated value £35 million

The 23-Year-old Belgian superstar has torn apart the Europa League and is making a name for himself at Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg, seeing 46 appearances and scoring 13 goals. Former English champions Manchester City have shown interest in the midfielder, a report back in March stated that De Bruyne confirmed that City approached him and offered a transfer sum of up to £35 million pounds.

De Bruyne is one of the world’s rising stars and has also had informal contact with Paris-Saint Germain and Bundesliga champions FC Bayern Mûnchen.

Karim Benzema to Arsenal
Estimated value £22 million

Karim Benzema is an absolutely sublime player, but he often flies under the radar at Real Madrid, being shadowed by the other big signings like Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Chicharito.

Arsenal have had to settle for another French striker, Olivier Giroud, who people heaped criticism on throughout their campaign, even though he scored 14 goals.

Benzema would enjoy his play alongside countryman Giroud, especially with Theo Walcott expected to be let go.

Marco Reus to Real Madrid
Estimated value £40 million

Reus has been apart of the Borussia Dortmund side that fell behind this season with just two wins in the first 11 games. After the winter break Reus stormed back into form, as did the rest of the team, scoring 10-plus goals in the second half of the season.

This season alone does not show the extent of Marco Reus’ ability and it’s no wonder Real Madrid are after the World Cup winner. If the sale of Benzema goes through, expect Cristiano Ronaldo to be moved into the striker position and Reus on his favoured left side.

Paulo Dybala to Juventus
Estimated value £42 million

The 21-year-old Argentine has caught the eye of the biggest clubs around the world including Paris-Saint Germain and Chelsea, but it is rumoured that the young striker has agreed to join Italian Champions for the fourth straight year, Juventus.

The Argentine netted 11 goals this season and assisted five at Palermo, who are set to finish in the top half of the table this season.

These are some of the transfers that could be happening very soon. Stay tuned for another write-up of even more.

Verratti is 'intransferable'. he's the jewel in the crown, parc des princes' chouchou. Someone would have to put a lot of money and I mean a lot to get him.

Too good for the championship yes, good enough for one of the biggest clubs in the world? Not in a million years.

I can't see Austin winding up at United. Maybe if he was three or four years younger. He's better off going to an Everton or a Villa (provided they're still up) when their main boys inevitably depart so he can be the number one go-to guy.

We've seen many times where "mid-table" players are bought by big clubs I could see that Charlie Austin has the ability and potential to be as good as Rooney or as good as Sturridge. It means giving them time to settle in the club. It would be the same league against the same teams, where he is familiar. And the premier league is where he belongs. He is too good to stay in the championship.

Oh, and no way are Manchester United interested in Charlie Austin. He's a mid table striker at best. They need serious quality, at least 1 frontline striker to support Rooney, with Wilson and possibly Hernandez to make up the striking pool. Liverpool may buy Austin, given how poor Rodger's eye for a striker is

Sterling has potential, but also has the potential to be Shaun Wright-Phillips. Sakho and Luca are average and you'd not choose them over a manager. Coutinho is a good player, but again threats of leaving are not exactly going to hold the board to ransom.. Mind you your comment is pure rumour anyway. Liverpool are a second tier club, no significant recent history, can't pay top wages or attact top players. Finishing 5th is the best they can expect, being the 5th biggest team in England. Last season was an abberation

The transfer everyone is concerned about though, is whether Williamson will finally leave Newcastle. Biggest question of the summer.

I could add a few more transfers out of Liverpool on top of Sterling. Coutinho, Sakho, Lucas are demanding transfers if manager Brendan Rodgers isn't sacked. The only chance Liverpool have of keeping these for is if the manager is sacked.

A) it's Barca in the final, not Real. B) I can see him winding up in the sky blue of Manchester with Toure going the other way. Pure speculation though.

Looks like Sterling is heading to City and heading into the inevitable mediocrity which strikes 99% of English who are hailed as the next Pele or Maradona.

I'm just hoping Adelaide United can sign the other McGowan boy. Then replace Palanca with a more worthy VISA player.

Reus was gonskis as soon as he signed that new contract ...will be an interesting summer at BvB all round. Lets hope they dont do a Liverpool with the spoils! Is Benzema likely to leave Real? I guess if you're right about CR playing striker to accomodate Reus, perhaps. As with every off season have to wonder if its the 'summer of Paul (Pogba)' ....that much cool is wasted in serie a. Maybe Real tank in the Ucl final in exchange for that deal haha. Have to say....dont want to leave this unsaid lol....but Financial 'Fair' Play will be ruling out an increasing number of deals this summer. More red tape dumbness....:)

De Gea moving away from Old Trafford is one rumours that really concerns. Following United you develop a sense of entitlement and ego and refuse to believe anyone would want to leave willingly. He doesn't seem the type to act like he is bigger than the club so I trust him to conduct himself properly during the window.
