[VIDEO] Nick Krygios vs Milos Raonic highlights: 2015 Wimbledon scores, blog

You either love him or you hate him, but regardless, Australian and 26th seed Nick Kyrgios will continue his Wimbledon 2015 campaign this evening when he takes on seventh seed from Canada Milos Raonic. Join The Roar for live scores and commentary of this third round match from 9:15pm (AEST)

Kyrgios has played two games so far in his Wimbledon campaign and already has had two run ins with the match officials. The young Aussie has a way of getting fired up and not being able to control his emotions and it could eventually come back to bite him.

However, besides those bumps in the road Krygios has been playing some fantastic tennis. He is yet to drop a set in his first two matches against Diego Schwartzman and Juan Moncao, never really looking challenged. His forehand was on fire and he had a good serve meaning he never let his opponents get into the match.

In saying that, they aren’t the greatest of opponents and Milos Raonic will prove to be a much stiffer challenge in the third round.

Raonic has also been playing good tennis over the first two rounds of his Wimbledon campaign, with two four set wins against Daniel Gimeno Traver and Tommy Haas. He has been far from dominant but played good enough tennis to keep his opponents at bay and get the job done.

It is interesting to note here that neither player played much before Wimbledon and neither looked to be in red hot form in the games they did manage to play. Kyrgios lost his only match to Stan Wawrinka in a straight sets demolition job, whilst Raonic managed to record wins against James Ward and Richard Gasquet before losing to Gilles Simon.

Milos Raonic is known for a massive serve and this has propelled him inside the top 10 of the world rankings. Krygios must combat this or it could be curtains on his Wimbledon campaign.

Of course both had great campaigns last year, Krygios on his Wimbledon debut knocked out in the quarter finals, whilst Raonic, who knocked Kyrgios out, got knocked out in the semi finals.

The pair have matched up twice, before both in Grand Slams. Raonic, as mentioned above, managed to knock out Kyrgios in last year’s quarter finals at Wimbledon in four sets 6-7, 6-2, 6-4, 7-6.

Their other meeting was at the 2014 French Open, Raonic winning that one in straight sets. Kyrgios will be keen to reverse the trend this time around, but the betting odds have Raonic, rightfully as favourite.

Prediction: In what should be a fantastic third round match at Wimbledon, Kyrgios to me looks to be in good form and will have the support of the fanatics behind him. His attitude could put Raonic off or it could hinder him, but a five set epic looks to be on the cards.

Krygios in five sets.

This is a huge win for him. The draw is opening up for him reasonably well too. Let's hope Tomic can do him a favour and take out Djokovic.
