How to watch the third Ashes Test on TV, radio, and streaming online

By The Roar / Editor

Australia heads into the third Test of the 2015 Ashes series at Edgbaston on a steam-train of confidence after bowling England all out for just 103 in the final innings of the second Test.

Chris Rogers is fit to play after retiring hurt last time around, while Steve Smith is on a hot streak following a double-century and a half-century at Lord’s.

The Mitches – Marsh, Starc and Johnson – are all in good form, while Peter Nevill is coming off an excellent debut at Lord’s where he replaced Brad Haddin.

The English aren’t in great form, but they’ve had some famous victories at Edgbaston both likely and unlikely, so it should make for another engaging Test.

What time is the third Test?
The third Test kicks of at 8pm (AEST) on Wednesday, July 28.

Stumps should be expected at around 3am (AEST) but, of course, the times may fluctuate due to match circumstances or weather, so keep an eye out for further announcements.

TV
As per the first two Tests, the entire match will be available live on free-to-air channel GEM.

The broadcast coverage will kick off at 7:30pm (AEST), half an hour before the first ball is bowled.

There will be no Foxtel broadcast of the Test.

I like that Nine are using an English flavour with Bumbles LLoyd and Michael Vaughn on their comm. team. Bumbles can be a bit of a pain. He can also be humorous.Vaughn is the exception to the rule among English commentators (not all). He is objective. He is never biased. Like some I could name. He does not shy away from praise when an Aussie caresses a four or straight drives the spinner over the boundary. He does not retort "oh that was poor fielding or the bowler should have shortened his length".Or if a wicket falls to a pearler by Josh Hazlewood. He does not says that the batsman played a poor shot. Vaughan gives praise when it is due. Even to the old enemy. He decribed the "baggies" win at Lords as "brutal and ruthless". Cricket commentary needs more Michael Vaughns.

It's absolutely criminal that we are listening to Heals and the gang as opposed to the English Sky team, and I'm an Aussie. One of the joys of the English ashes taken away -- Comment from The Roar's iPhone app.
