The 2015-16 Premier League season kicks off on August 8, with a meeting between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. It’s a fixture that features star forward Harry Kane, who was pivotal in Spurs’ fifth place finish last season.
The Englishman netted 21 league goals while managing 31 in all competitions for his north London side.
However not everyone is convinced by the young star’s 2014-15 goal-scoring antics, with many believing Kane is just a one-season wonder – something I dispute.
Kane had a decent preseason, despite his England side being knocked out early in the under-21 Euro championship, registering just three points to finish last in group B.
So far Kane has scored twice in three preseason matches, showing he is continuing to find the back of the net on a consistent basis.
He’s a very well-rounded footballer. He’s strong mentally as well as physically, has great ball control, is a great passer – which is a great attribute for a forward – and he’s brilliant in the air.
Most importantly, he’s a clinical finisher with exceptional positioning.
The Spurs striker simply loves playing football for his White Hart Lane outfit, as evidenced by his recent signing of a five-and-a-half-year deal.
Kane is guaranteed a spot in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting XI due to a successful season, along with the team’s lack of other goal-scoring options. The English prodigy will grow further under the management of Pochettino, who strongly believes in the striker’s abilities.
We’re yet to see the best of Harry Kane.

Kane must stay at Tottenham, see out his contract or even become a club legend, it gives Pochettino, after selling a bulk of his starting squad or planning to sell, a chance to build a team around the young striker, which can only help him to hit 21goals again next season or even more. he has the ability to become a terrific striker on the international stage, and if he decides to move on he can but i think he could be a club legend like Gerrard who's been with the club since they were adolescent. The choice is his but with a spurs side gradually showing signs of strength i think he could be apart of something special at tottenham.
