A Wallaby great previews Australia's chances at the World Cup

By The Roar / Editor

In the lead up to the 2015 Rugby World Cup, The Roar had the chance to speak to Wallaby great Nick Farr-Jones, the man who led Australia to victory at the 1991 World Cup in England.

One of the key questions we wanted answered was how he rated the Wallabies’ chances of bringing home the Webb Ellis trophy.

The full interview with Nick Farr-Jones can be found on The Roar TV as it is released.

Well, they're all sports Pete and they are all (or have had) world cups this year. Thats a relationship. Australia have won both and are a chance of winning the 3rd. That's also a relationship. I was just having a light heated musing mate. The Wallabies to win is a long shot indeed. Don't let that thin skin get to you. Do i detect another one of the perpetually outraged? oh, and i reckon most fans lack reason when it comes to sport..........except you of course ;)

You are all assuming the ABs will beat Argentina. Maybe they won't and then move over to the other side of the draw to get an easier run?

They're related how... Do you howl at the moon and believe in Santa too or you just lack reason when it comes to sport?

It's shaping at the most competitive World Cup yet. If the Irish take out the All Blacks at quarters or semi (this is NZ's danger game) then here are half a dozen teams who could win the tournament, including Australia. Can't wait!

If only it was that easy. Still, we have already beaten NZ out of 2 world cup this year (Cricket and Netball) so why not a third?

The scrum will be functional, the line-out will be sorted out, and Cheika should now by now the best 9 and 10 and that's it; all cylinders will be firing and we'll win the Cup.
