Miss Gunpowder has come out guns blazing (pardon the pun) in her last two starts since crossing the border from Adelaide. She draws barrier 11 but hasn’t been out of the trifecta in her career which includes four wins from five starts. $5.50 for her looks an amazing price.
Pasadena Girl is the favourite who has been good without being amazing. Won at this distance but missed the trifecta on this track, $4 in a wide open field is a little short for mine.
Badawiya comes in off the back of two wins where last start she smoked Sacred Eye by two lengths. Loves this distance but is an unknown at the track, $6 is a fair quote and she will be up there with the previous two.
Jameka drops 2kg on the last start third to Miss Gunpowder it is a handy swing which makes the $8.50 price look even better. I give her a chance in this one.
Alaskan Rose is a big unknown and if she can turn the form around from last start she might be a blow out chance at $31.
Payroll was second to Miss Gunpowder last start and has blown out in price to $19 this time around. Seriously an exotic spot and will be right in the finish.
