Brisbane City survived an almighty scare from the Sydney Stars to book their place in the NRC grand final with a 47-32 victory.
The Stars came out firing and held a 24-13 advantage at halftime. However, the undefeated Brisbane fought back in the second half, and a pair of consecutive tries from Nick Frisby saw them take the lead.
The Stars failed to score again after that, and Brisbane confirmed a meeting with the University of Canberra Vikings in the NRC grand final.

City are coming off a huge 71-24 win over the Greater Sydney Rams in Ballymore, scoring 10 tries, including a Junior Laloifi hat-trick.

Sydney are coming off a dramatic, eight-point loss to the Melbourne Rising, and to make the grand final they need to tighten up their defence and rediscover the attacking flair they had in the first few games of the season.
These two sides locked horns earlier this month, with Brisbane methodically dismantling the Stars in a 58-nil victory.

Brisbane City are far too strong all over, so expect to see them in the grand final for the second year in a row.
