After heading into bat, New Zealand’s opening batsman Martin Guptill got his side off to a flyer in the first one-day international against Australia, highlighted with a huge six that travelled 113 metres onto the roof at Eden Park.
Guptill would go on to smash eight fours and five sixes on way to 90 from just 76 deliveries.
New Zealand would finish their innings at 8/307, a modest total considering they cruised past the 200-run mark with 20 overs remaining.
