Wayne Rooney’s famous bicycle kick goal may well have been surpassed by Ramon Abila in the Copa Libertadores.
The Club Atlético Huracán forward propelled himself into the air before delivering perfect timing with the bicycle kick to curl the ball into the right-hand corner.
Despite Abila’s goal-of-the-year contender, his team was knocked out of the competition, losing 4-2 to Atlético Nacional.
