Radwanska has started her Roland Garros campaign with straight-set wins over Bojana Jovanovski and French powerhouse Caroline Garcia.

Despite a hiccup in Madrid, the Polish superstar has been near unstoppable on clay in recent weeks, having reached the semi-finals at Stuttgart and not having dropped a set thus far at the French Open.

Strycova will offer a welcome challenge for Radwanska as she aims to claim her first ever grand slam title, after falling just two wins shy of a tournament win at Melbourne Park earlier in the year.

Strycova, seeded 30th in this tournament, has enjoyed her fair share of success in recent weeks, with seven wins in her last ten matches for a strong lead-in to the second grand slam of 2016.

The Czech Republican helped her country to book a spot in the Fed Cup final against France, and she also reached the quarter-finals at the Rome Masters and in Prague.

Still, the 30-year-old is the rank outsider, and for good reason – Radwanska has won all four meetings between the pair.

Their most recent encounter came at the Canadian Masters in 2014, when Radwanska took a 6-4, 6-4 victory – the closest meeting between the pair.

Either 19th seed Sloane Stephens or Tsvetana Pironkova will meet with the winner in a fourth round match-up.

Prediction
Strycova will push to a third set for the first time in meetings between the two, but Radwanska will hold on and progress to the fourth round.

Radwanska in three sets.
