Speight still in Olympic rugby hunt

Wallabies winger Henry Speight’s Olympic ambitions have been revived after being named a shadow player for Australia’s rugby sevens team.

Eye socket and knee injuries had hampered Speight’s Rio Games quest before he was overlooked for the 12-man team last week.

But coach Andy Friend has selected the Brumbies flyer and ex-NSW and Rebels three-quarter Tom Kingston as back-up players who can replace injured squad members in Rio.
