Jarryd Hayne turned up to a takeaway store last week and social media lit up, so the code hopping phenomenon was always going to break the internet when he officially made his next sporting move.
It came with the announcement that he would sign with the Gold Coast Titans on a two-year deal, which included agreeing to play the rest of the year.
The words ‘Jarryd’ and ‘Hayne’ immediately started trending and the Gold Coast Twitter handle also had some love, especially when they had this pre-made tweet ready to go featuring the fact Hayne was going to line up against the Warriors this Sunday.
