After a disappointing week last week I will be looking to bounce back strongly and tip you into some winners!

This weekend’s action comes to us from Caulfield for a nine race program where as usual the early quaddie will be races two through to five and the regular quaddie is races six through to nine.

The card is highlighted by the P.B Lawrence Stakes and the Lister Regal Roller Stakes.

Caulfield Early Quaddie

Leg One – Legacy Badge 2016 Appeal Handicap (84) 1600m:
We kick things off here with an interesting BM84 for the fillies and mares with quite a few winning hopes!

1 Rustic Melody down from the Kris Lees yard in Sydney is in this race with a good chance, last start she finished fifth only beaten 2.5 lengths that was at Rosehill, the mile suits and Damien Oliver on is a big plus. The only downside is she’s having her first go at the track.

2 Niminypiminy looked like a winner at Hillside a few runs back but she has been poor since then, it’s D-Day for her but she has to be in the mix.

3 Choice had a terrific run first up and was only beaten 1.1 lengths last start here over the 1200 metres she finished fifth on that day, the step up to 1600m looks ideal.

5 Savannah Moon has been racing well comes back a notch in trip but was a winner over the 1800m last start and is well in this.

7 Kaniana had the run last week where she was a touch unlucky and just needed more room the step up to 1600m looks ideal!

Suggestions: 1-2-3-5-7

Leg Two – Ramleigh Springs The Place To Be Handicap (84) 1600m:
I’m very keen on just the one runner in this leg and I’m pretty confident he can get the job done.

4 Leica Day from the Weir yard with Ben Allen to ride and get the claim, hasn’t had a run since the 16th of July where he finished third behind Ulmann and Duke of Brunswick over the 1400m was a game effort that day and the step up to 1600m suits.

5 Chiavari has been racing in consistent form and won well at Moonee Valley two runs back, Forgeress has franked that form and is well in this.

6 Mossin’ Around resumes here for a new stable which is the Begg stable had form around Tsarista and Risque last prep, all form below 1400 metres is great.

We come to one of our feature events of the day with quality horses resuming and some that are fit.

2 The Cleaner resumes here 1400 metres some issue but did finish second in this race last year.

3 Lord of the Sky won well last start to break a long drought again 1400 metres is some issue but is going well enough to win.

4 Jacquinot Bay had two tough wins over 1400 metres before failing to finish off the race last time out, back to 1400 could help but WFA could be an issue.

11 Mahuta ran well last start in the Bletchingly and comes into this fitter, 1400 metres suits because it is unbeaten at this trip.

12 Suavito resumes here and has a good record first up, at this trip and at the track, huge chance.

Leg Three – Lister Regal Roller Stakes 1200m:
Keen on just the one runner here for another one of our features, he just needs some luck and he should be winning.

Suggestions: 1

Leg Four – Beveridge Williams Plate (78) 1400m:
We end things here with a challenging benchmark 78 over the seven furlongs.

5 Magicus held up last time out and could have finished a lot closer if not won the race with some luck, is racing consistently and will be hard to beat.

6 Mr Individual controlled the race last time out and was too classy back in distance and class, will go close again.
