Currently sitting fifth on the Bundesliga table after three games, Borussia Dortmund seem to have put their opening loss behind them in emphatic fashion.

Dortmund are coming off a 6-nil thrashing over Darmstadt 98 in front of more than 80,000, which saw five different goal scorers.

The attendance is set to be no different as the German side looks to upset Real Madrid, who have been on fire themselves as of late.

Real Madrid are on a record-breaking winning run, and currently sit atop the La Liga table above rivals Barcelona after four games.

Coming off a 2-nil win over Espanyol, the entire Real Madrid squad seems to have stepped up their game under manager and club legend Zinedine Zidane.

A win for Real Madrid against Dortmund would see them leapfrog the German side and take top spot on the table.

The last time these two sides faced off was in 2014. Marco Reus found the net twice in the first half as Dortmund beat Madrid 2-nil at home.

Prediction
Dortmund are one the hardest teams to defeat at home, and Real Madrid have struggled at the Signal-Iduna every time they have played. Both sides are on form, so this one could go either way.

Borussia Dortmund 1 – 1 Real Madrid

Haha. If it was any other player it would have been a penalty.

Ronaldo looks as dangerous as ever, even after that injury at the Euro's.

They may have lost Hummels and Mkhitaryan but Dortmund look stronger than ever. I look forward to seeing them progress far into this competition.

What a great game. Real Madrid has real class especially up front, but Dortmund, what a team.
