The Roar’s AFL Finals MVP has a pair of winners this year, with Josh P Kennedy and Liam Picken tying on six votes each to split the honours.

Kennedy polled best-on-ground performances in both the semi-finals and the grand final to finish with a total of six votes from the final series.

Picken matched that, with three votes in the elimination final against West Coast, one in the semi-final against Hawthorn, and two in the grand final.

Other players in close contention were Joel Selwood who picked up five votes – impressive, as he played just two finals games – and Clay Smith also on five votes.

Kennedy also won the AFLCA’s newest award, the Gary Ayres Medal for best finals player.

It caps off a strong season for him in which he was deservedly named All-Australian and will no doubt be one of many strong contenders for the Swans’ best-and-fairest award.

Picken on the other hand was something of a finals surprise package – while he had a solid enough season in the home-and-away, it was finals where he really came alive and became a regular goalkicker.

The votes from the last two weeks of the final series are below, and you can find the votes from the first week of finals here and the semi-finals here.
