Both Perth Glory and Adelaide United will be desperate to end their losing runs when they clash at nib Stadium on Friday night. Join The Roar for live scores and coverage from 10pm (AEDT).

Perth are on a three-game winless streak and are coming off their worst defeat of the season going down 4-1 to Sydney FC.

Things could have been different for the Glory if they had been able to take advantage of some clear cut chances early in the game. Striker Andy Koegh in particular had three chances in the first fifteen minutes including a one-on-one with Sydney FC goalie Danny Vukovic.

The reigning champions Adelaide broke a run of three consecutive 2-1 losses last week in their entertaining 1-1 draw against the Brisbane Roar but are still winless with just two points after six games.

The Reds have not been as poor as their record suggests, they have been competitive in most of their matches but have been unable to put 90 minutes together and have conceded goals through lack of concentration at times.

They have missed Henrique and Cirio up front but welcomed back Marcelo Carrusca last week.

Socceroo Josh Rishdon makes a welcome return to the side and will strengthen a defence that looked poor last week and included a defensive howler from makeshift full back Dino Djulbic.

Perth haven’t lost at home this season and will be keen to heap the pressure back on the winless reigning champions.

The Reds however were also winless in their first eight games last season and rebounded to win the championship, so they will have the confidence to get themselves out of trouble again.

Their last visit to nib Stadium resulted in an impressive 3-1 win over Perth.

Prediction
Glory’s dangerous attack at home may be too much for the Reds.

Glory 2-1
