And avenge it they did – they prevented Ireland from scoring any tries and eventually ran out the winners with a scoreline of 21-9.
The Irish impressed once again with the quality of their performance, but just couldn’t break through a supremely strong New Zealand defence.

Northern hemisphere teams beleive the only way to beat the All Blacks is by aggression then expect the same in return & stop bleating when beaten at your own game plan. Interesting that there was not a mention in any of the biased media reports of Sexton’s coathanger on Barrett as he crossed the line to score!.

Ireland got one up on NZ in Chicago with a very impressive & aggressive performance against an understrength NZ side who were caught napping & were decicively outplayed. NZ responded in kind with an more abrasive game to match that of the Irish (& other northern hemisphere teams), & yes, the AB's were deserving of the 2 yellow cards. This said, if teams beleive the only way to beat the All Blacks is by aggression then expect the same in return & stop bleating when beaten at your own game plan.
