The Wanderers are searching for just their second win of the season after going without the victory in their past six games, drawing five and losing one.

In their last match, Central Coast picked up a 2-0 victory against Perth with goals coming from Roy O’Donovan and Harry Ascroft. The Mariners managed to get their first clean sheet in 37 games.

Western Sydney could only salvage a point against Brisbane Roar with Jumpei Kusukami getting his first goal for the club.

In their last head to head game earlier this season, the points were shared in a 1-1 with goals coming from Brendon Santalab and Adam Berry.

A win for either team will put them into the top six, needless to say there’s a lot at stake in this one.

For Paul Okon, he has Liam Rose and Jacob Poscoliero returning to the side after being out due to suspension and injury. Jaques Faty sits out due to a knee injury,

Tony Popovic has winger Jaushua Sotirio and Lachlan Scott back into the team and a full squad available for this one.

The key players to look out for in this one are Jumpei Kusukami and Roy O’Donovan after both coming off a goal in their previous match they will be hungry to get another.

The slick skills of Jumpei has wowed crowds so far this season but has found it hard to show any final product but finally he got his long-awaited goal in front of his home fans last weekend.

O’Donovan has picked up four goals so far this season and will be looking for his fifth this Saturday evening. The Irish striker has shown shades of what quality he has so far in his A-League career but is yet to show that he can consistently score goals. Look out for him in this one.

The Wanderers have won their past two away games to Central Coast and should end their winless run and make it three from three today.

Prediction: 2-1 Wanderers

Terrible managing by paulo, why take powell off in the second half. And have nothing in centre midfield. All the wanderers had to do was guard the wings and ccm were dead in the water

25 minutes to go in this game and the Mariners will need to find a goal to get back into the game here. The Wanderers have missed alot of chances and could see themselves be punished for it if Central Coast can get a goal
