WATCH: Players use their scrum skills to push an ambulance

By Roar TV / Roar Guru

Here’s proof that a rugby scrum is also useful in an emergency.

An injury during a match between Val Camonica and Casalmaggiore in Italy saw a player injured and loaded into the back of an ambulance.

The ambulance attempted to escort the player to a hospital before being bogged in the mud and unable to move.

Cue a combined scrum of both teams, to crouch, touch and push the ambulance out of the predicament.

It was great teamwork from the clubs involved and a new inventive use for a scrum! Everybody wins!
