Pakistan have wrapped up a series victory over the West Indies with a six-wicket win in the final one-day international in Guyana.
A century from Shoaib Malik saw his side surpass their target of 233 with 41 balls to spare as they finished on a commanding 4-236.
But Pakistan’s successful run chase had looked far from certain after opener Kamran Akmal was removed with the first ball of the innings.
Ahmed Shehzad followed in the sixth over and when Shannon Gabriel removed Babar Azam the tourists looked to be struggling on 3-36.
But Shoaib stepped up with aplomb to reach an unbeaten 111-ball 101 while Mohammed Hafeez also helped Pakistan get back on track with a fine 81, coming off 86 balls.
Half-centuries from Jason Mohammad and Shai Hope had helped West Indies reach 9-233 after they won the toss.
After slipping to 3-68, Mohammad and Shai combined for a 101-run fourth wicket stand before Mohammad was caught by Sarfraz Ahmed off Junaid Khan for 59.
Hope batted on to reach 71, before his wicket dropped his side to 6-211, and the Pakistan bowlers mopped up the tail with little resistance.
Pick of the Pakistan attack was Shadab Khan, who was not used until the 26th over, but finished with figures of 2-57 off his eight overs.
