Following on from a sensational performance in the opening State of Origin game of 2017, Wests Tigers’ James Tedesco was in fine form as his side attempted to push for a late comeback against the St George Illawarra Dragons.
After the Tigers won the ball back, Tedesco had seemingly broken the field wide open with an electric run.
However just as one began to wonder whether he would be able to storm his way over the line, Tedesco’s Blues teammate Josh Dugan intervened.
The 27-year-old wrapped Tedesco up in a superb tackle, bringing his run to to an end.
While the Tigers did later manage to score in the same set, their scoring finished there, as the Dragons secured a 16-12 victory.
