With the score locked at 6-6 and the Sydney Roosters looking for their second try against the Brisbane Broncos, Roosters winger Daniel Tupou had a moment to forget.
In the 24 minute, a pass from Luke Keary richoted off Bronco James Roberts, and spooned up for what looked likely to be an easy catch for Tupou.
But despite the extra time from the ricochet, Tupou spilt his chance, in one of the match’s bigger blunders.
Thankfully for Tupou, the Roosters would go on to win, notching up a tight 18-16 victory over the Broncos.
