The Chiefs as expected have secured a comfortable win over a Brumbies team that had its focus entirely on next week’s home final.
The Brumbies still competed well and showed some defensive steel that will serve them nicely heading into their home final.
Chiefs fullback McKenzie was once again dynamic in attack, making several breaks and passes that kickstarted the Chiefs attack.
The Brumbies had very few answers to the problems McKenzie posed when in space.
The Brumbies still have issues to solve in attack and need to find more fluency in possession ahead of more testing matches against tough Kiwi opposition.
Despite a poor season overall from the Australian conference, the Brumbies have earned a ticket to the lottery, and when it comes to finals, anything can happen if they apply themselves and give their best effort.

..........no revelation here. All Ozzie Super sides offer parity since the inception of Super ra ra which has spread the talent thinner, i.e. to say they are all mediocre. Australian Rugby always was always niche here but it is close to extinction now I believe. What I find hard to understand is that conversely, NZ is more than competitive in League v Australia, despite that code being on a par with Unions status here, while NZ's population is only around 5 mill, ours 24 mill. NZ are definitely a superior sporting nation across just about all sporting disciplines, pound for pound ie.........

The Hurricanes will run right over the top of the Brumbies in the quarter finals next week in Canberra. It's game over and the Brumbies know it!!!.

The Brumbies were reasonably competitive in the forwards. No clue in the backs. Larkham is the Wallabies attack coach and Grey is the Defensive coach. 2 players from the winning schoolboys make the Australian team. No doubt 7 or 8 Tahs to start in the championship. No concept of earning your spot or the job in Oz Rugby.
