'Dissolved into tears': John Iredale's reaction to his first Socceroos goal was just so wholesome
The emotions hit the 24-year-old all at once after scoring his first international goal against Lebanon.
The Socceroos will go up against Syria tonight with World Cup qualification on the line. Lose and they’re out of the race, win and they’re still in the mix.
The match will kick off at 8pm (AEDT) on Tuesday, October 10 at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium.
If the teams are level at full time, the game will continue with extra time and, if necessary, a penalty shootout.
