New Zealand took victory in the Bledisloe Cup this year in dominant fashion, winning the first match against Australia in Sydney by a significant margin – 54-34.

A 20-point win didn’t really reflect just how dominant New Zealand were however as they led by a record margin early on before a quiet end to the game allowed the Wallabies to make the scoreline look more respectable.

Australia did fire back in the second match of the series however and led for much of the game before eventually conceding defeat in a dramatic finish.

The All Blacks came away with a six-point win and became 2017’s winners of the Bledisloe Cup even though the Wallabies had come so close to upsetting their applecart.

New Zealand also won this year’s Rugby Championship going 6-0 undefeated in the tournament while Australia had an even split – two wins, two losses and two draws.

Barrett has been pretty average this year, too many nothing chip kicks, wasting possession with only one in five plays coming off. I'm keen to see what Lima Sopoaga can do. Damien Mackenzie is a flake and the Wallabies should definitely target him.

Raining here all day. Will be a very wet game. Interesting for both sides.

I dont think Hansen is letting them go by choice. You may have a laissez-faire attitude to taking on the Wallabies but unfortunately I don't think Hansen does!

Great to see Shag giving Retallick & Barrett, some time away from the squad, as they have been possibly our best all season. In that, I'm not saying their replacements are not up to the standard required, as I'm sure Lima & de udder brudder, Scott, can do the job. Well let's put it this way both Aaron Smith & Lima Sapoaga, are just as familiar with each others play as what Perenara & Barrett are for their Super rugby franchise. Should be a reasonable game, considering, the weather will play an important part, as from what I've heard it's been raining since early this morning.

Matt Todd out and Wayne Barnes to spec savers plus a quick brain transplant, should make an exciting game.
