Australia will look to meet expectations and cruise through to the quarter-finals of the Rugby League World Cup when they take on Lebanon. This is The Roar‘s guide to streaming the match online and watching it on TV.
The Group A match is scheduled to kick-off at 8pm (AEDT) on Saturday, November 11 at the Sydney Football Stadium.
While Australia have cruised through the group stage as expected and barring a miracle will finish top of Group A, Lebanon themselves are on the verge of a historic quarter-final appearance.
For them to miss the finals, they would have to lose heavily and have France beat England, which, going on form seems unlikely.
This match will also see Robbie Farah and Mitchell Moses team up in the halves against Australia, which is sure to be an intriguing battle.
As is the case with the entire tournament, the only way to watch the match on TV will be through the Seven network, who hold exclusive rights.
However, Australian games are broadcast slightly differently to non-Australian games. While most games are watchable on 7Mate right around the country, it depends which state you are in as to which channel you watch this match on.
If you live in New South Wales, Victoria or Queensland, then the entire pre-game show and match will be live on the main Channel 7 from 7pm (AEDT), allowing for an hour-long build up. If you’re in Queensland, that’s 6pm (AEST).
For those following on from Western Australia or South Australia, you’ll need to keep the TV tuned to 7Mate if you want to watch the Kangaroos go around in their final group game. Coverage there will begin at the conclusion of the game kicking off at 5:15pm (AEDT) between Scotland and Samoa.
Finally, if you are based in either Tasmania or the Northern Territory, you’ll need to tune into Southern Cross TV with a similar arrangement to that of Western Australia and South Australia in terms of coverage times.
If you are looking to live stream the action, then you will have to use one of channel 7’s free methods. There is no state-by-state guide to streaming, because of all of the channel’s associated with seven are available on either the 7Live website or mobile application.

With soccer being a bad word the Socceroos will be Kangaroos at the next Football World Cup. ARLC and NRL will do nothing except make sure the Kangaroos never play anymore rugby league internationals. Which all helps the FFA dump Socceroos for Kangaroos.
