PNG have shown their class many a time during this competition, as their home form seeks to scare and intimidate their opponents whenever they visit the Kumuls’ home territory.

Their expert knowledge and experience of the heat and humidity has allowed themselves to develop a real fortress for themselves at home.

Along with their enterprise and entertaining brand of play, the PNG team never fail to excite the competition, and at home will look to dominate and entertain whoever they play.

However, the side is far from perfect and last week displayed some of the poorest ball handling the competition has seen.

The Hawks of the USA play with plenty of passion and conviction. However, they have struggled many times during the competition as the young side battle to compete with some of Rugby League’s finest on a global scale.

After being smashed by the Italians in sir recent game, the US are certain to miss out on advancing in the competition despite their best efforts, surely meaning the next game against PNG will be fighting for lost pride.

However, fighting for their country is seemingly what the Hawks do best, with the team always playing with plenty of passion whenever they play. Despite being leagues below the world’s best, they always give it their all which is something more teams can replicate.

Prediction
PNG should be much better with the ball than last week and at home against the US, they must surely win, and win big.

Good game, not the best for the Kumuls despite the Hawks playing their hearts out. PNG need to work on their ball handling errors if they are to give (presumably) England a good go.

I can't see that England could have won any more convincingly against USA. PNG will have to be a chance to advance further than the Quarters.
