The Penrith Panthers join the St George Illawarra Dragons at the top of the NRL ladder courtesy of another comeback win, this time against the Rabbitohs.

South Sydney, like the Eels before them, held a 14-point lead going into the second half only for the Panthers to respond, scoring three second-half tries to nil en route to a four-point win.

Penrith are still far from their best, but they continue to get the wins and that is a very good sign for a team with plenty of expectation on their shoulders.

As for the Bunnies, another opportunity for a win goes begging. They enjoyed a strong first half but faded as the match wore on.

Greg Inglis leaving the field didn’t help their cause either.
