The NRL stat that isn't one, but should be: Working out which forwards really pull their weight

South Sydney are on the board in season 2018, securing a tough 30-6 win over Manly at ANZ Stadium.
After scoring nine tries last week, the Sea Eagles never really threatened with the footy against a determined Rabbitohs side that simply wanted it more this week.
The Bunnies backline was able to cash in today, with Robert Jennings and Richie Kennar scoring a hattrick and double respectively.
Credit has to be given though to the Rabbitohs pack with the Burgess brothers leading from the front yet again and dominating Manly’s fancied pack.
Manly were flat all round and never really got going in the wet weather. The Bunnies won the arm wrestle and were never headed.
A great opening win for the bunnies and one that the rest of the competition should take notice of.
South Sydney Rabbitohs 34
Manly Sea Eagles 8
