There are a couple of handy meetings in NSW this Monday, with seven races run and won at both at Goulburn and Tamworth. Here are my five suggested plays across the remaining meetings.

Bet One- Win- Goulburn Race One Number 3 Membership
On form, I think she’s the one to beat. Hasn’t raced for a couple of months since running second in a Wyong maiden behind Absolute, and that form looks good with Absolute winning in town. First up she ran behind Shumookh, so that does read well for this.

Bet Two- Win- Goulburn Race Two Number 1 Not Bossy
I think normal luck and she wins. Given no hope of winning last week on her home track at Queanbeyan but her finale was more than sound to just miss on picking up Griddlebone. Draws to sit much closer in the run and Jess Taylor takes over.

Bet Three- Each Way- Goulburn Race Four Number 3 Star Of Africa
Eight years of age but I think he has come back in really good order. Ran over 1200m at the track last time out where he didn’t really get much room in the straight but worked home well to run a close up third. If the breaks go his way, at $10, he will go close.

Bet Four- Win- Tamworth Race One Number 4 Outta Space
Hard to get enthused about a 16 start maiden but he does look well placed here. Ran a gutsy second last time out at Coonamble behind Good Host, who won the Dubbo Country Championship Qualifier. Good enough for me.

Bet Five- Win- Tamworth Race Three Number 3 Valree
Rod Northam trained who clocked some great splits when resuming with a maiden win on her home track at Scone. Runner up ran well at Canberra on Saturday and this isn’t a strong race. $3.30 acceptable.
