Some really good racing across three meetings in Australia on Tuesday, with some nice types engaged for Ballarat. Here are my five suggested plays across the three programs.

Bet One- Win- Ballarat Race Four Number 1 Notio
Notio should be beating this lot if he runs to his Victorian form. He is low flying for the Hawkes camp but has been giving away too much head start, the latest over 1400m at Flemington when second to King’s Command after that horse crawled them in front and sprinted. This looks ideal and he drops big time in depth.

Bet Two- Win- Hawkesbury Race Three Number 1 Royal Advance
Not the strongest maiden and I think he can get away with this one. Been given a good grounding for his debut with a couple of solid trial placings on bogs in town. Should press forward and take some beating against this lot.

Bet Three- Win- Hawkesbury Race Five Number 2 Cabriere
Brad Widdup trains this Dynamic Syndications horse who has been quite good in two career outings. Hasn’t raced for a month since racing at Mudgee where he just got too far back in the run but worked home well late. Both runs, the form has been and this looks a thin race.

Bet Four- Win- Mackay race Two Number 3 Marway
Tough race for the babies but I thunk drawing the paint is a big tick for this youngster. Debuted at Rocky and I thought he did a good job. Sat on speed in what was a fast run race and toughed it out well when a narrow third. Should get a lovely run and prove hard to beat.

Bet Five- Win- Mackay Race Three Number 2 Uthred
Had his first run for the stable a couple of weeks back at Mackay over 1200m and I thought he was outstanding, savaging the line late and he was dominant in doing so. Should only improve off that, form second up is good and he looks one of the better bets.
