A strong card of racing has been assembled for Rosehill this Saturday, with a Group l double header the focus. Here is my quaddie preview for the meeting, which is on races 6-9.
Leg one
You can go two ways here for me. Either go one out with Almandin or go Almandin and Gailo Chop. Almandin is the best horse in the race and the best proven 2400m+ horse in the race.
I’m including Gailo Chop because he has the map favours and is just racing so well at the moment. Tempted to go one out Almandin but I’ll go with Gailo Chop.
Leg two
Similar to the Tancred. You could easily go one out here via Aloisia. She’s the best horse in this race by a mile but you just can’t be definitive in how she has come back.
Danzdanzdance is a quality filly from New Zealand who ran a beauty in the Derby. Hiyaam ran well first up in the Phar Lap and maps ideally.
The two at odds I’ll include is Semari, who has been outstanding her past couple, and Miss Imagination, who spanked them last start.
Leg three
Looks an ideal race for Interlocuter, who was an eye catcher first up in the Liverpool Cup. Loves Rosehill and has a dynamic second up record.
Cellarman continues to step up to the plate and his Ajax run was a beauty. Ecuador has been trialling well and will make sure this is a true 1500m contest. Mister Sea Wolf has to be included also.
Leg four
Couple of these horses contested the feature spent race on Kembla Grange Classic Day, namely Osborne Bulls and Stonebrook.
They look two of the hardest to beat and should go close to winning. Beau Geste is a talented three year old who maps ideally and at odds, I’ll include Black On Gold, who has trialled up well and is a noted fresh horse.

Leg Four: 1, 5, 8, 13
