The Giants will be disappointed after losing last week against the Sydney Swans. Many felt it was an opportunity for Leon Cameron’s side to lay a marker down for the rest of the season. Sure, they will still be thereabouts come the end, but it no doubt is a psychological blow to lose to one of the teams that will also be thereabouts early on in the season.

Despite last week, they have still started the season relatively well without being at their absolute best, chalking up wins against the Western Bulldogs and the Collingwood Magpies.

Jeremy Cameron has looked the goods thus far, kicking goals as he usually does. He will play a big part in his team getting back to winning ways.

In team news for the Giants, the notable out is Josh Kelly, who will miss this week due to groin soreness. Rory Lobb also comes out with an injury to his knee, and Harry Perryman has been omitted.

Toby Greene, Ryan Griffen and Dawson Simpson are the three inclusions.

As for Fremantle, Ross Lyon will be fairly pleased with how they have started the season. Back-to-back wins against the Essendon Bombers and the Gold Coast Suns gives them a solid base to work from going forward.

It is a young list and it will show at times, but at least Fremantle are showing something early so the supporters have some hope going forward.

The biggest positive for the Dockers is that Nat Fyfe looks back to his absolute best, and with that you are getting a serious footballer. Players like Fyfe at their best can really project a list forward, and no doubt Lyon would know that.

In team news for the Dockers, they are unchanged from last week’s win against the Suns.

Prediction
Despite the Dockers coming into this game with back-to-back wins, the Giants will prove too strong over the course of four quarters. Their list runs so deep in terms of talent, and with that comes class across every line, and it’ll show between the two sides.

The Giants by 37.
