The Adelaide Crows are looking to get their season back on track after a disappointing loss last weekend when they travel to face the Sydney Swans. Join The Roar for live scores and a blog of the match from 7:50pm (AEST).

The Swans will be thrilled to have won such a close game against the Western Bulldogs last week. They faced a side that seemed to have had their bite back in the past couple of weeks, so it was a big four points.

One criticism of the Swans is the reliance on Lance Franklin – they need others to help ease the load on the superstar forward.

In team news for the Swans, Nic Newman and Aliir Aliir are both omitted from the side, with Gary Rohan and Harry Marsh coming in.

As for the Crows, it was such a poor display at the Adelaide Oval against the Collingwood Magpies last week. They win that game most times, but for some reason they just didn’t adapt to the wet as well as the Pies.

Don Pyke won’t be panicking, as he has yet to field his best 22 players this season, but they need to find a way to churn out wins even when missing key players – something they’ve struggled with this season.

On a positive note, Bryce Gibbs looks a sensational recruit, and could be crucial in the Crows going one better than last season.

Adelaide have four changes: Eddie Betts (hamstring), Darcy Fogarty (omitted), David Mackay (concussion) and Rory Sloane (foot) all come out, replaced by Jordan Gallucci, Riley Knight, Andy Otten, Myles Poholke.

Prediction
The Swans are travelling nicely and have the home advantage, while the Crows have key players missing.

Sydney will get over the line here.
